由18種129個氨基酸殘基構成的單一肽鏈。它富含堿性氨基酸,有4對二硫鍵維持酶構型,是一種堿性蛋白質,其N端為賴氨酸,C端為亮氨酸。蛋清溶菌酶是C型,是已知的最耐熱的酶。

活力定義:一個溶菌酶活力單位定義為 25℃ ,pH6. 2 條件下,使用藤黃微球菌懸濁液在 450nm 處每分鐘引起吸光度變化為 0.001 所需溶菌酶的量。

儲存條件: 2-8℃
用途: 是一種能水解致病菌中黏多糖的堿性酶。主要通過破壞細胞壁中的N-乙酰胞壁酸和N-乙酰氨基葡糖之間的β-1,4糖苷鍵,使細胞壁不溶性黏多糖分解成可溶性糖肽,導致細胞壁破裂內容物逸出而使細菌溶解。溶菌酶還可與帶負電荷的病毒蛋白直接結合,與DNA、RNA、脫輔基蛋白形成復鹽,使病毒失活。可分解溶壁微球菌、巨大芽孢桿菌、黃色八疊球菌等革蘭陽性菌。
