 水楊酸使用很廣,濕疹、干癬、青春痘、去頭皮屑都可能用到水楊酸。濃度在3%~6%的水楊酸可以用來去角質,高于6%則對組織有破壞性。 40%濃度以下則適于治療雞眼、厚繭、病毒疣。水楊酸也可以添加在治療青春痘及去頭皮屑的藥物中。時下不少知名化妝品添加水楊酸成分: 1993年倩碧CLINIQUE首先推出含1%水楊酸成分的柔更新水凝霜,立刻成為倩碧最成功的產(chǎn)品之一;1998年SK-II晶致?lián)Q膚霜在原有的Pitera配方 中加入1.5%BHA成分,并以剝殼雞蛋比喻水楊酸處理毛孔及角質的效果,引發(fā)市場的熱潮;開架通路的歐蕾熱門產(chǎn)品活膚精華霜也含有1.5% BHA成分。 但是,由于高濃度的水楊酸具有一定的傷害性,化妝品所含的水楊酸濃度一般被限制在0.2%~1.5%之間,含水楊酸的化妝品須加 注警示語以確定長期使用的安全性,而且3歲以下的兒童也不得使用。
